An unidentified person who came to the Yayla village beach for a holiday fell asleep on the seabed accompanied by the peaceful sounds of the beach. He was dragged out to sea by the strong wind and waves that he did not notice in the depths of his sleep. The relatives waiting for the holidaymaker became anxious when they suddenly could not see the seabed and the person while walking on the beach. Those who noticed the situation ran to the operator of the facility were in and asked for help.
The facility operator, Mustafa Altunhan, immediately assessed the situation and set out to sea with his relatives on a boat. They noticed the vacationers still sleeping peacefully on the seabed, approximately 2 miles offshore. The person who woke up to their calls was taken aboard the boat in astonishment and carried safely to shore.
Mustafa Altunhan, who encountered a similar incident in June last year, recalled that they had rescued another person who had been dragged by the seabed approximately 4 miles from the shore. Altunhan emphasized that those who enter the sea on windy and wavy days should be careful and warned holidaymakers about this issue.
