Amasya Mayor Turgay Sevindi Announced Targets
Amasya Mayor Turgay Sevindi announced that work is continuing to create the municipality’s strategic plan. Mayor Sevindi said, “We are in the preparation process of our strategic plan, in which we set our goals. We will share our plan with the public in August.”
Meeting with journalists, Mayor Sevindi said, “We continue to work on projects such as completing the marketplace in the Şeyhcui Neighborhood, building at least one wedding hall, and opening a new nursery.”
Turgay Sevindi stated that they aim to provide services to wider audiences after reaching a stronger position economically, and emphasized that asphalt paving works are also important in regions where infrastructure works are completed.
Stating that the inclusion of Amasya’s Harşena Mountain and Pontus King Tombs in the UNESCO World Heritage Permanent List is among his goals, Sevindi said, “We are aware of our responsibility to leave permanent beauties to our children for the future of Amasya. We continue our “work to further beautify our city and ensure the satisfaction of our citizens.” “We will continue without a break,” he said.
