Humanoid Robots Fascinated Visitors
The 2024 World Artificial Intelligence Expo, held in Tianjin Municipality in northern China, fascinated visitors with the exhibition of humanoid robots. At the fair, life-like robots demonstrated their abilities such as walking fast, dancing and even making coffee.
- The humanoid robot Xiaoqi, which attracted attention with its shiny hair reaching down to its shoulders, high-heeled shoes and perfect make-up, attracted the attention of visitors. Xiaoqi was produced by Ex-Robots and is currently used in museums and educational institutions.
- The 130 centimeter tall humanoid robot Walker X was produced by UBTECH Robotics Limited Company. Walker X has the ability to greet people, shake hands, do Tai Chi, and give heart greetings.
“These robots can help families with various tasks at home. They can also increase efficiency by optimizing work processes in industrial areas.” Industry experts predict that humanoid robots will become widespread in homes and provide various services in the coming years.
Artificial Intelligence and Robots for the Future
According to China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the country aims to strengthen the innovation system for humanoid robots by 2025. This step aims to create a solid industrial and supply chain by 2027. Thus, humanoid robots and artificial intelligence products will be more deeply integrated into the economy.
According to Xinhua News Agency, the fair held in Tianjin guided the industry by exhibiting the latest developments in artificial intelligence and robot technologies.
