A significant success was achieved in the operation carried out against drug trafficking in Iğdır. Iğdır Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams carried out searches at 3 addresses in the city center in the operation coordinated by the Iğdır Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.

During the searches, 7 thousand 500 grams of marijuana, 345 cannabis roots and a precision scale used in the crime were seized. Within the scope of the operation, judicial proceedings were initiated against 2 suspicious persons and the investigation was deepened.
Iğdır Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams stated that they will continue their determined work to prevent drug trafficking and such crimes.
