Yıldız Holding shared with the public its 7th Sustainability Report, which includes comprehensive sustainability activities for 2023. The report covers the operating period of Adapazarı Şeker, Aytaç Gıda, Bizim Toptan, Kerevitaş, ŞOK Marketler and Ülker between January 1 and December 31, 2023.
The report includes detailed information on Yıldız Holding’s commitments and projects under the headings “We Work for the Future of Nature”, “We Strengthen with Our Stakeholders” and “We Inspire the Future”.
Yıldız Holding shares its activities within the scope of the United Nations Global Compact and Women’s Empowerment Principles, as well as its contributions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals in the report.
While the Holding continues its work towards the goal of “net zero” greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, it is also taking important steps in plastic reduction and renewable energy investments.
Women’s Platform and Equal Opportunity Studies
Yıldız Holding focuses on equal opportunity activities under the leadership of the Women’s Platform, which was established in 2021. It successfully continues its diversity and equality-based transformation activities in line with the goal of increasing the proportion of female board members in its companies.
The Holding has applied the international certification process in order to document the principle of equal pay for equal work according to international standards and has shared its successful steps in this regard in the report.
Innovation and Investments in the Future
Yıldız Holding continues its work with the aim of increasing its sustainability-focused innovation investments. Focusing on R&D activities to reinforce its leadership in the food and retail sectors, the Holding implements projects focused on inspiring the future.
