Antalya to Host World Congress of Emergency Surgery
The 11th World Congress of Emergency Surgery, which will be held with the participation of approximately 2,500 surgeons from five different continents of the world, will be hosted in Antalya on June 25-28, 2024. The surgeons who will participate in the congress will meet in Turkey after the congress in Rhodes.
The National Society of Trauma and Emergency Surgery has filed for candidacy for 2025
The National Association of Trauma and Emergency Surgery made its candidacy to host the 11th World Congress of Emergency Surgery in 2025. Turkey’s candidacy was accepted unanimously by the countries participating in the congress. In this way, surgeons from 180 countries will come together at the congress to be held in Antalya.
National Trauma and Emergency Surgery Association Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Mehmet Eryilmaz:“In this congress that we will organize, we will have the opportunity to share our country’s experience in the field of surgery with the entire world. At the same time, we aim to increase knowledge sharing by transferring the work of our colleagues around the world to young physicians in our country.”
