At 08:45 in the morning, an important work started at the Bolu Mountain Tunnel crossing of the TEM Highway. Transportation to Istanbul was closed from the Abant Junction. Due to this extensive work, the road will be closed to traffic for 50 days. Within the scope of this work carried out to extend the tube of the tunnel in the Istanbul direction and to change the 4 expansion joints in the two viaducts, the Istanbul direction of the highway will be closed to transportation starting from 08:00 tomorrow.
Drivers heading towards Istanbul will exit at the Abant toll booths and use the D-100 highway. They will then be able to re-enter the highway at the Kaynaşlı toll booths. The road is planned to be reopened to traffic on September 19th before the work is complete.
