Kütahya Provincial Gendarmerie Command carried out an important information campaign for women in Demirciören and Sekiören villages. During the visits carried out by the Combating Domestic Violence and Children’s Department, the Women’s Emergency Support Application (KADES) was introduced in detail.
During visits by gendarmerie teams in Demirciören and Sekiören villages, the operation of the KADES application was explained to women working in vineyards, gardens and fields. It was explained in detail how women can get help in emergencies, how the nearest team will be dispatched to the scene if they reach the 112 Call Center and how the necessary intervention will be carried out.
Thanks to these information activities, women living in the village became more aware of how to act in possible situations of violence. Gendarmerie teams aimed to increase social awareness by informing women in the villages.
