Vice President Yilmaz reacted strongly to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech at the US Congress. In a statement he made on his social media account, Yilmaz condemned Netanyahu’s speech at the US Congress.
Yilmaz said, “The shameful favor shown by the US Congress to an administrator accused of committing genocide in Gaza before the International Court of Justice is alarming in terms of human values, international law and the future of democracy.”
Yilmaz also said, “In the face of perceptions created by lobbies and dominant media channels, the common sense of humanity and the power of truth are our greatest support. Together with all virtuous people and governments of the world, we will continue to stand by “Humanitarian law, the oppressed and occupied Palestinian people, and to defend justice and peace for all.”
