Vice President Kamala Harris will be making her sixth visit to the battleground state of Nevada this year. This visit marks her 14th since taking office and is her first visit since discussions about a potential change in the Democratic ticket have emerged.

Despite the speculations within the party, Vice President Harris is expected to shift the focus back to the current race between President Biden, 81, and former President Donald J. Trump, 78. She is scheduled to deliver a speech in Las Vegas on Tuesday, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming election.

As concerns about President Biden’s performance and potential re-election grow among some Democrats, Vice President Harris finds herself under a heightened level of scrutiny. Former Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak, a Democratic supporter of President Biden, described the current situation as a “microscope or magnifying glass” on Vice President Harris.

While President Biden has reaffirmed his intention to run for a second term, there have been debates within the party regarding the future of the ticket. Vice President Harris has consistently shown her support for President Biden, advocating for his candidacy and highlighting the administration’s achievements in various events and media appearances.

Despite the internal discussions, Vice President Harris remains steadfast in her backing of President Biden, demonstrating a united front ahead of the crucial election less than four months away.
