According to information based on the “Al-Cairo al-Ihbariyah” television broadcasting in Egypt, the US delegation will first meet with Egyptian security officials. Joint efforts will be made to ensure a ceasefire.
At the same time, an Israeli negotiating team led by Ronen Bar, director of Israel’s domestic intelligence agency Shin-Bet, has also traveled to Egypt. The team will take part in talks on the prisoner exchange and the management of the Rafah Border Crossing.
