In a written statement made by UNRWA’s X account, it was stated that “destruction and despair prevail everywhere in the Gaza Strip, where heavy attacks continue.” The statement said, “Families continue to be forcibly displaced. Some are taking refuge in schools and damaged buildings, while others are living in makeshift tents. “No place in Gaza is safe.” The statement, which included the phrase “People are exhausted,” called for an immediate ceasefire.
