Turkcell held a gong ceremony on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), where it has been trading for 24 years, for the company’s 30th anniversary. Turkcell Chairman of the Board Şenol Kazancı, Turkcell General Manager Ali Taha Koç and other executives, as well as the Chairman of the TBMM Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology Commission Mustafa Varank also attended the event organized within the scope of Turkcell’s 30th anniversary.
Data Center Investments Exceed $350 Million
Turkcell General Manager Ali Taha Koç stated that they have approximately 32 thousand square meters of active white space in a total of 33 data centers. Koç announced that they provide cloud and data hosting services to 4 thousand local and foreign companies with 4 new generation data centers. Stating that Turkcell’s data center investments exceeded 350 million dollars, Koç emphasized that they are working to make Turkey the data hub of the region.

Emphasizing that they continue to support society in a wide range of areas from education to sports, culture and arts, Koç shared Turkcell’s goals of becoming net zero in carbon footprint in line with its sustainability vision.
