Unforgettable ‘Hababam Class’ Actor Tuncay Akçakalp Passed Away
60-year-old Tuncay Akçakalp, who is remembered for his student character nicknamed ‘Bacaksız’ in the movie ‘Hababam Class’, one of the legendary productions of Turkish cinema, died as a result of a heart attack in Istanbul. The news of Akçakalp’s death was announced by his manager Kıvanç Terzioğlu on social media. The sad news left his loved ones deeply saddened.
The late Tuncay Akçakalp will bid farewell to his final journey today after the afternoon prayer at Şakirin Mosque.
Who is Tuncay Akça?
Tuncay Akça was born on December 16, 1963 in Kastamonu. He made a name for himself in his cinema career with the character ‘Bacaksız’, he portrayed in the movie ‘Hababam Class’, and thanks to this role, he won the love of a wide audience. Akça later played the character of Yusuf in the 1996 movie ‘Yol’. Additionally, between 1995 and 2002, he played the role of greengrocer Adem in the series ‘Bizimkiler’, one of the unforgettable series in the history of Turkish television.
