Former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, conducted an interview with Elon Musk in a chat room attended by more than 1 million people on the X platform. This interview, which was announced to start at 20:00 US local time, became inaccessible for many users when the Space application on X crashed due to high demand. Elon Musk, the owner of the X platform, announced that there was a cyber attack on the platform after a while and that users were having difficulty joining the session because of this. Accusing the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris administration of facilitating the entry of illegal immigrants into the country, Trump emphasized that these immigrants come not only from Latin America, but also from Asia, the Middle East and Africa. “These people should only come to our country through legal channels,” Trump said, arguing that there are many criminals among these people and that this increases crime rates throughout the country. He stated that if he becomes president, he will carry out “the largest deportation operation in the history of the country.”
The Blow to Biden and Harris’ Inadequacy
Trump claimed that US President Joe Biden was forced to withdraw his candidacy for president, saying, “This was a coup against the President of the United States.” Stating that Democratic presidential candidate Harris was a worse candidate than Biden, Trump said, “We cannot choose her, she is worthless.” Arguing that Biden’s intelligence is very low, Trump said, “The president has a very low intelligence, it was low 30 years ago, but now it may not be any more.”

Trump stated that he believes the elections to be held on November 5th will be the most important turning point in US history and called on all elections to go to the polls. “These elections will be the most important elections ever. It will probably be the most important day in our history,” he said. He also claimed that if he had been president instead of Biden, the Ukraine war would not have happened. “Despite the 2-year long Russia investigation against me, I had good relations with Putin,” Trump said, expressing that the US was respected at the time.
Evaluations on Economic Crisis and Inflation
Trump criticized the economic situation, saying, “People can’t go grocery shopping because they don’t have enough money.” Stating that inflation is “eating away” at middle-income earners, Trump said, “It’s terrible, and we’re going to stop it.” He also emphasized that artificial intelligence requires twice the energy the country currently produces. “If our country is going to be competitive with China in artificial intelligence, it’s going to take a lot of electricity,” he said.
Elon Musk, on the other hand, stated that inflation is caused by excessive government spending and expressed his opinion that spending should be reduced. Musk stated that a government efficiency commission is needed to examine what the spending is being done on.
