  • New Visa Policies: China offers visa-free entry for up to 15 days to citizens from various countries, predominantly in Western Europe. The program, initiated in December, has been progressively broadened, with recent inclusions like Australia, New Zealand, and Poland. The scheme is scheduled to be in effect until 2025.
  • Visa-Free Transit: Additionally, citizens of over 50 countries, including the United States, are now eligible for visa-free transit in China. They can stay for 72 or 144 hours, depending on the entry port, if they are en route to other destinations.
