The latest victim, a 9-year-old girl, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday at the hospital. Two other girls, aged 6 and 7, lost their lives on Monday due to the injuries sustained during the attack.

The incident occurred during a Taylor Swift-themed dance class for children aged 6 to 11, described by the local police chief, Serena Kennedy, as “ferocious.” A 17-year-old male suspect has been apprehended and is undergoing police interrogation.

In response to the tragic event, Taylor Swift expressed her shock and sorrow on Instagram, stating, “The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport is washing over me continuously. The loss of life and innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families, and first responders. These were just little kids at a dance class.”
