AFYONKARAHİSAR – It was the scene of heavy traffic after the holiday. With the end of the Eid al-Adha holiday, holidaymakers formed long vehicle queues on the Afyonkarahisar-Antalya highway on their way back.
Since Afyonkarahisar is one of the important junctions of Turkey, there was a traffic jam on the way back. There were moments when traffic came to a standstill, especially on the highway connecting Afyonkarahisar to Antalya, Denizli, Isparta and Denizli.
At the intersections in Sandıklı district, traffic police warned drivers not to use the safety lane, to wear seat belts and to obey traffic rules. However, due to the density, accidents with material damage occurred from time to time.
While traffic density is expected to continue until late at night, it is important for drivers to be careful and obey traffic rules.
