Yesterday evening, near Yarisli village in Yeşilova district, the car with the registration number 09 NM 166 driven by Adem Burgaz and the car with the registration number 20 AGT 651 driven by Abdurrahman Bolat collided head-on. Adem Burgaz lost his life at the scene of the accident, while Hasan Turgut lost his life in hospital.
Among the injured are Abdurrahman Bolat, Mert Sabahattin, Rabia Özlem Aktaş, Günay Karabıyık, Ayşe Turgut, Atila Turgut, Alper Turgut and Bilal Turgut. The injured were taken to Burdur State Hospital.
While Günay Karabıyık and Rabia Özlem Aktaş, who were seriously injured in the accident, were sent to Isparta City Hospital, Bilal Turgut was sent to Antalya Akdeniz University Hospital.
At the time of the accident, Alper Turgut was heard saying, “I was discharged today. Did you pick up my father?” The accident was recorded by a security camera of a nearby workplace.
It was reported that Hasan Turgut, who lost his life, was the principal of Milas 23 Nisan Primary School in the Milas district of Muğla, and that he had come to pick up his other son, Alper Turgut, who had completed his military service in Isparta, together with his brother-in-law Adem Burgaz, his wife Ayşe Turgut, and their children Atila and Bilal Turgut, when the accident occurred.
The bodies of Hasan Turgut and Adem Burgaz were prepared to be sent to their hometown Milas after the autopsy procedures.
