The fire, which broke out in the wheat-planted agricultural area in Tepecik town of Tavşanlı district, was successfully brought under control by Tavşanlı Municipality Fire Department teams and Tavşanlı Forest Management personnel.
The incident took place when citizens called the 112 Emergency Call line and response teams were quickly dispatched to the scene. The fire was intervened with 3 sprinklers, 2 water supply vehicles, 1 first response vehicle, 1 pickup truck and a total of 28 personnel, preventing damage to an area of approximately 2 hectares.
