Statement from the Presidency of Religious Affairs
The Presidency of Religious Affairs made an important statement emphasizing that they stand by Palestine. President Ali Erbaş expressed his happiness in supporting the struggle of the oppressed people of Gaza under the attacks of genocidal invaders. He stated that together with the Turkish Religious Affairs Foundation, they experienced the joy and pride of delivering the sacrifices entrusted by the Turkish nation to Gaza.
Erbaş made the following statements: “After the slaughtering and packaging processes were completed during the Eid al-Adha, we transported the sacrificial meat, which was kept in cold storage in Egypt, to Gaza with trucks equipped with special cooling units. The sacrificial animals entrusted to the Turkish Religious Foundation by our benefactors reached Gaza after Jerusalem and the West Bank, alhamdulillah May Allah accept it.”
In this context, these humanitarian aid activities carried out by the Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Turkish Religious Foundation are one of the best examples of solidarity towards our Palestinian brothers. It has once again shown that the Turkish nation always stands by the victims and the oppressed.
