In a written statement made by the government’s Media Office in Gaza, it was reported that the Rafah Border Crossing was closed 72 days ago as a result of the Israeli attack and during this time the wounded and sick were deprived of the right to receive treatment abroad .
The statement emphasized that the number of Palestinians who lost their lives because they could not receive treatment outside the Gaza Strip after the closure of the Rafah Border Crossing has reached 292.
The statement said that the number of injured and sick people who need treatment outside the Gaza Strip has exceeded 3,500, and that these people must be urgently evacuated abroad.
It was noted that according to the Ministry of Health records, 25 thousand people requested treatment outside the Gaza Strip, but due to the closure of the border gate, the sick and injured were deprived of this right.
