Starmer Celebrates Election Victory

Starmer Seçim Zaferini Kutladı

Labour Party leader Starmer, who won a landslide victory in the UK elections held on July 4, has been elected as the country’s new prime minister. Speaking after the election results were announced, Starmer said, “Change begins now.”

Starmer thanked the British who worked hard during the campaign and went to the polls to vote, stating that they were reaping the fruits of the work carried out by the Labour Party, and said, “We are ready to serve our country and build Britain.”

Starmer achieved a great victory against the Conservative Party, which had been in power for 14 years. Emphasising that the Labour Party government would act on the principle of “country first, party second”, Starmer said that they could bring change to the people of England just as they had brought it within the Labour Party.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak congratulated Labour on the election results, which saw the Conservative Party suffering a crushing defeat, and said: “Today, power will change hands peacefully and in a methodical manner.”

Sunak apologised to his voters, saying he accepted responsibility for the defeat of the Conservative Party, which had won 365 seats in the previous election, down to 120.
