17th Şenkaya Culture and Honey Festival
The Culture, Art and Honey Festival held in Şenkaya district of Erzurum hosted a magnificent enthusiasm. The festival, held in the Şirankes picnic area, took place in a pleasant atmosphere intertwined with nature.

The opening speech of the festival was made by Şenkaya Mayor Görbil Özcan. Then, Şenkaya District Governor Abdullah Kurt expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the festival. The festival continued enthusiastically with the participation of Erzurum Deputy Governor Mustafa Çelik Berk.
Shows and Events
- Caucasian Rebels Dance Group performed an unforgettable show with the song “Hoşgelişler ola Mustafa Kemal Pasha” and received great applause.
- Kars javelin team presented an exciting javelin show after greeting the protocol accompanied by horses.
- The local bar team and Erzurum bar team gave the audience unforgettable moments with their colorful performances.
- At the festival where local artists took the stage, the participants had fun dancing halay to their heart’s content.
Participation and Flavors
The festival was enlivened with participants from all over Turkey. In addition to cağ kebab, barbecue and samovas, festival-specific delicacies were also offered to the participants.
