Security Warning from Eskişehir Police
In Eskişehir, police teams carried out informative activities to draw attention to the dangers that may arise as a result of citizens entering unsafe streams, ponds and irrigation canals to cool off due to increasing temperatures.
Community Supported Policing Branch Directorate teams affiliated with Eskişehir Provincial Police Department made the necessary warnings and provided information to the citizens around the Porsuk stream and irrigation canals, in order to minimize the risk of drowning, especially for children.
With 78 posters hung in areas where citizens are densely populated, the message “Don’t Suffer Your Loved Ones, Don’t Drown Yourself in Darkness, and Don’t Drown in the Canal, Not in the Pool” aimed to attract the attention of citizens.
