Having graduated from Sakarya University Faculty of Law at the end of the 2023-2024 Academic Year as the top student, Attorney Gamze Uygun (23) made emotional moments during her graduation speech. In her graduation speech, Uygun touched on the process of getting into the Faculty of Law and family support, and moved her audience.

Attorney Gamze Uygun:“Welcome to all our guests who are here today to share our graduation joy! This is the reward of my labor, the morning of my sleepless nights, the place where my tears are dry. I am living one of the most meaningful moments of my life .It is a great honor to complete Sakarya University Faculty of Law as the top student with ambition and effort throughout my education life. This is my story!
I am Gamze, this is my story. I am from Sinop. With the presence of my mother who had to become a mother at a young age and my supportive father, I held on tightly to my dreams. I graduated from vocational high school and my desire to study law never left me. With sleepless nights, studying until the morning and the support of my family, I started my law education at Sakarya University with a ranking of 21 thousand.
I have faced difficulties throughout my life. When I learned that my father had cancer, I fell into a big test. I finished my school to keep the promise I made to him. I would like to thank my family and my dear sister who have always been by my side during this process. Believing in yourself is the first step to drawing your own destiny.”

Anne Hanife Uygun:“Gamze is my second child. My stubborn, ambitious, determined beautiful daughter. She realized her dream and graduated from law school as the top student. I am proud of her success. Gamze is my strong daughter, may her path be clear, we “love her very much.”
