Road Maintenance and Infrastructure Work Continues on the Golden Horn Bridge
As part of the asphalt renewal works that started at 23:00 yesterday evening, teams continue to work intensively on the D-100 Highway Haliç Bridge. The middle bridge, which also includes the metrobus route, was closed to traffic in the Mecidiyeköy direction. Drivers were directed to the side road by traffic signs and illuminated buoys placed on the Haliç Bridge.
Istanbulites who wanted to go to work were having a hard time in traffic due to the closure, and the traffic congestion extended to Bahçelievler. Traffic congestion continued on the Golden Horn Bridge and surrounding areas in the morning hours. In aerial footage, the traffic congestion on the Golden Horn Bridge can be clearly seen.
The planned completion date for the renovation work on the Golden Horn Bridge has been determined as 05:00 on July 8. It is important for drivers to be careful and choose alternative routes during the work period.
