Number of Foreigners According to Immigration Administration Data: According to the data of the Directorate of Immigration Administration, the number of foreigners residing in Istanbul was announced as 1 million 87 thousand in total. Among this number, the number of Syrians under temporary protection was 530 thousand 612, the number of foreigners under international protection was 3 thousand 252 and the number of foreigners with residence permit was 553 thousand 153.
