Red Crescent Spokesperson Raid en-Nemes told AA that the bodies of 12 Palestinians who were martyred by occupying Israel four months ago and had to be buried in hospital corridors were exhumed. En-Nemes said, “At that time, it was not possible to bury the martyrs in cemeteries due to the random shooting of Israeli soldiers. However, now, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the bodies of the martyrs were taken to official cemeteries.”
Noting that hospitals and health institutions are frequently targeted in Gaza, en-Nemes that the occupying Israeli army surrounded Amal Hospital on March 24. Stating that the entrance to the hospital was closed with earthen barriers and that health workers were pressured to leave, en -Nemes stated that Amal Hospital was out of service for a short time but later resumed service.
