Kuzguncuk, one of the historical districts of Istanbul, unfortunately came to the fore with suspicion of rabies. The incident, which occurred when a citizen was bitten by a stray dog, created concern in the district.

According to the details of the incident, a citizen named İbrahim Ciğer was bitten by a stray dog ​​in Kuzguncuk. Taking the situation seriously, Ciğer immediately went to the hospital and took urgent measures to get a rabies vaccine. However, he encountered a surprising truth. On the same day, he learned that 30-40 people from Kuzguncuk alone applied to the hospital with suspicion of rabies.

While waiting at the hospital to get the rabies vaccine, Ciğer said, “80 people came today, 30-40 of them from Kuzguncuk.” He was stunned by his words. Addressing the authorities in the face of this situation, Ciğer emphasized that precautions should be taken quickly, especially in areas with high human density. Because it is unacceptable that so many people encounter rabies cases in a district like Kuzguncuk.

Ciğer, who called the authorities in the face of this situation, stated that he became even more worried after seeing the photos.
