Jerusalem Protestant Church: Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza Attacked
The Protestant Church in Jerusalem stated in a written statement that the area around the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in central Gaza was subjected to intense UAV attacks last night. It was noted that the occupying Israeli army declared the area where the hospital is located a “war zone” and ordered a forced evacuation. The Church reported that those who took shelter in the hospital, medical personnel and patients had begun to leave the hospital, and emphasized that this situation was endangering the patients and the wounded.
The church drew attention to the fact that the hospital in Gaza, where health services have come to a standstill, has been disabled at a time when it is “needed the most”. The statement said that an ambulance was targeted today on its way back to the hospital and that there was no information about the health personnel inside and the patient’s condition.
