President Erdoğan’s Visit to Rize

President Erdoğan made his first post-election city visit to his hometown, Rize. Addressing citizens in his ancestral home district of Güneysu, Erdoğan announced that he would spend the weekend there. He also stated that he wanted to inspect the ongoing hospital construction in Rize and Güneysu on site and that a large mosque would be built in the city center.
