President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan issued a condolence message for Infantry Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Cem Demirkan, who was injured in the Claw-Lock operation area and became a martyr in the hospital where he was receiving treatment. President Erdoğan noted the following in his post on his social media account:
“I pray to God for mercy upon Infantry Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Cem Demirkan, who was injured in the Claw-Lock operation area but became a martyr in the hospital where he was receiving treatment, and I pray for patience for the family of our Lieutenant Colonel .“We will continue to not allow the separatist terrorist organization to open its eyes with our operations inside and outside our borders, and we will not leave the blood of our heroes who died for the sake of our homeland and flag untouched.”
