The motion passed by the Turkish Grand National Assembly General Assembly condemned Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech in the US Congress. The motion reads, “We declare that we regret this democratic disgrace” The statement was included. Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Bekir Bozdağ and the deputies applauded the movement standing up.

Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc shared a post on his social media account after the motion was accepted. Tunc said, “The approval of the motion of the Speaker of the Parliament condemning the speech of the occupying Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu in the US Congress is a lesson in democracy given to the entire world.”He expressed his reaction with the words.
Minister of Justice Tunç made the following statements:
- “The fact that a murderer who massacred 40,000 innocent civilians in Gaza was given a speech accompanied by a show is an indication that the US Congress is not on the side of democracy, human rights and peace.”
