The Palestinian Prisoners Association and the Prisoners and Releasees Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization issued a joint statement, drawing attention to the ongoing raids by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. It was reported that in the past 48 hours, Israeli forces detained at least 40 Palestinians in West Bank cities such as Qalqilya and Nablus.
The statement emphasized that those detained included those previously released and children. It was noted that the number of Palestinians detained in the occupied West Bank since October 7 had risen to 9,840. It was stated that detentions, raids and attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem had increased, especially since the start of the attacks on Gaza.
