Palestinian Education Minister Emced Barham drew attention to the situation of Palestinian students in Gaza at a press conference regarding the results of the first round of high school entrance exams.

Barham stated that 39 thousand Palestinian students in Gaza were unable to take the high school entrance exam due to Israeli attacks, and that 10 thousand students and 400 teachers were martyred.
He stated that according to the United Nations, 625 thousand students were deprived of education as a result of the attacks launched by Israel on October 7. He shared the information that 88 percent of the educational institutions in Gaza were damaged.
