Palestine Support Meeting
Demir made important statements at the press conference he held in the Parliament, reminding that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will address the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).
Emphasizing that they have deep respect for the resistance and life struggle of the Palestinian people, Demir stated that they will listen carefully to Abbas’ speech at the General Assembly to condemn the genocide.
Demir drew attention to the fact that Israel wanted to take its occupation campaign in the Middle East to a further level. He stated that it was carrying out attacks on Lebanon, Syria and Iran in this regard. He also made important warnings about the support that the US was providing to Israel.
Demir’s points emphasize:
- The resistance and struggle for life of the Palestinian people is important.

- Israel’s occupation policies in the Middle East continue dangerously.
- US support for Israel threatens peace in the region.

In this context, Demir stated that Turkey will resolutely fight for Palestine’s rights and that they will voice this situation on international platforms.
