Statement from the Free Thought and Education Rights Association
The Free Thought and Education Rights Association (Özgür-Der) emphasized that the struggle of the people of Gaza, who have been displaying a brave resistance against Zionist oppression for months, continues. The statement stated that the occupying regime is trying to make the Muslims of Gaza surrender with the massacres it carries out, but solidarity demonstrations with Gaza continue in Turkey and around the world.
At the call of the Gaza Solidarity Platform, the Qunut prayer was read at the witr prayer held in Saraçhane for the people of Gaza. In this meaningful event, during the witr prayer led by Yasin Mıcık, victory was requested from Allah for the Muslims who resisted in Gaza. It was also stated that all the criminal regimes that shed blood in the region, especially the Zionist gang, were condemned.
It was stated that such events were organized to draw attention to the difficulties experienced by the people of Gaza and to appeal to the international community, and to emphasize the importance of solidarity.
