Number of Martyrs Rising in Palestine
According to information received from hospital sources, young Palestinian Mohammed Abu Hijab, who was injured during yesterday’s raid, unfortunately became a martyr. The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced in a written statement yesterday that two vehicles were targeted in the Ash-Sharqi neighborhood in the city of Jenin, and that 5 Palestinians lost their lives and many were injured in this attack.
It was reported that the number of Palestinians martyred in raids and attacks on various parts of the occupied West Bank in the last 24 hours has reached 14. Since Israel launched its attack on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, there has been a significant increase in detentions, raids and attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Since October 7, a total of 620 Palestinians have been martyred and more than 5,000 injured in attacks carried out by Israeli soldiers and Israelis occupying Palestinian territories in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
This situation continues to be a significant concern in terms of human rights violations in the region and the response of the international community.
