Speaking at the introductory program held at the SGK Conference Hall, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Ahmet Aydın stated that they signed a protocol as a result of the collaborations between public institutions and the private sector in order to provide a more prosperous life for retirees in the Turkish Century. Retirement Desks Established in Social Security Institution Centers in Every Province

Aydın stated that they have set up a retirement desk in SGK centers in every province in order to provide guidance to retirees, and said, “Today, a total of 4,123 companies in 81 provinces have signed discount advantage protocols.” Aydın stated that in addition to the retirement digital ID cards, TROY and banks have also created special bank and credit cards for retirees, and that the opportunities provided through these cards have been implemented.

SGK President Raci Kaya also stated that they have been working in cooperation with the Ministry to increase the quality of life of retirees and expand their rights in areas such as health, transportation, social facilities and cultural activities throughout the year within the scope of the ” “Year of Retirees”. Kaya stated that banks have quickly joined the process to offer special discounts and privileges to retirees and that they are working with great dedication in this regard.

Speaking on behalf of the banks, Ziraat Bank Deputy General Manager Cüneyt Sağlık stated that they focused on producing the most accurate solutions for the financial needs of retirees and said, “Within the framework of the strategies included in the Medium Term Program, we increased the transaction volume of the regulatory authorities, BKM and TROY, the national card scheme in the banking sector, by 1200 percent in the second quarter compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
