As a result of the decisions published in the Official Gazette dated July 10, 2024, new governors were appointed to the provinces of Diyarbakır, Malatya, Kocaeli, Çanakkale and Elazığ.

Following the appointment of Murat Zorluoğlu as governor in Diyarbakır, Malatya Governor Ersin Yazıcı was appointed as the Governor-Chief Civil Inspector.
