Members of the National Will Platform came together in the courtyard of the Imaret Mosque after Friday prayers. The meeting was also attended by Ali Zengin, the Afyonkarahisar Branch President of the Society for the Dissemination of Knowledge. Zengin, in a statement on behalf of the group, stated that the US’s mask of democracy and freedom had fallen once again and that they condemned the savagery carried out by Israel in Gaza.

Turkey will continue to support the Palestinian struggle under all circumstances. We will continue to defend the oppressed against those who applaud oppression,” he said.
Zengin hailed the resistance of Palestine and Gaza, saying, “God’s help is near, the truth will triumph sooner or later.” After the statement, the group chanted slogans against Israel and prayed for the Palestinians martyred in Gaza.
