Muğla International Youth Center, operating under the Muğla Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate, organized an enjoyable event by bringing mothers and children together in an art workshop during the summer holiday period.
In the event held at the Mother-Child Art Workshop, mothers and children worked on ceramic shaping together. This activity not only provided an opportunity to have fun, but also helped children discover their talents and develop their motor skills.
Children created three-dimensional forms by shaping colorful ceramics in their own unique styles. In this process, in addition to improving their manual skills, they increased their cooperation skills and had a pleasant learning experience.
In this event, which they attended with their parents, children had the opportunity to have a pleasant time and strengthen their communication with their mothers. Additionally, children showed off their creativity by designing their own ceramic pots.
The event attracted great attention and there were happy moments among the participants. 2-year-old Melis Özmen said, “It is great to have fun with my mother in the colorful ceramics workshop. I plan to come with my friend tomorrow,” while 12-year-old Aden Koban said, “Making ceramics today was “It was a good decision to participate.”
