Moss Formation in Porsuk Stream
The Porsuk Stream, which passes through the city center of Eskişehir and has become the symbol of the city, has recently started to be covered with moss. Especially in the areas where the flow of the water slows down, the density of moss has reached remarkable levels.
Comments on Algae Formation
The moss formed in Porsuk Stream has caused different comments among the citizens in the area. It is thought that the moss has emerged due to the decreasing water flow. The density of moss can be clearly seen in the aerial images taken in the section of Porsuk Stream passing through Gökmeydan Neighborhood of Odunpazarı district.

- Esma Acar:Esma Acar, who encountered the mossy image, evaluated the situation as follows: “I live close to this park and I observed more moss accumulation this year. This could be due to decreased rainfall or lower water levels. This situation is quite different from previous years. There was more water here before. The fact that it is now covered in moss is really worrying.”
