Meeting Between Mahmoud Abbas and Vladimir Putin

He also drew attention to the importance of establishing an independent Palestinian state in line with United Nations (UN) resolutions. Putin said, “Of course, we are following the humanitarian disaster in Palestine with great pain and concern. We are doing our best to stand by the Palestinian people and support them.”
On the other hand, Mahmoud Abbas, will address the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) during his visit to Ankara on August 15. In this important speech, he will express the situation created by the inhumane attacks carried out by Israel on Palestinian territories, especially Gaza, and the support expected from the international community in this context.
