Albayrak Group Files Lawsuit Against Microsoft for Cloud System Push
Albayrak Group filed a lawsuit alleging that it was forced to use the cloud system while receiving Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system services from Microsoft in 2021 and that it suffered millions of dollars in losses due to production interruptions. Group officials stated that Microsoft caused problems in the upgrade process and that their company suffered serious losses due to long-term production interruptions.
Albayrak Group Wins Case and Retires Against Microsoft
The lawsuit filed by the Albayrak Group against Microsoft, which forced it to transfer all its data to a cloud system abroad, was ruled in 2024. The court ruled that the 1.5 million TL contract price paid in 2017 and the maintenance and update fee of $422,000 be paid to the Albayrak Group, along with commercial interest.
