Doğan Yurt, a 100% visually impaired farmer in the Kahyalı village of Çankırı’s Kızılırmak district, keeps the memory of the choir training he received in Ankara alive with his sheep. The lambs ‘bleat’ accompany the folk song sung by the farmer, who thinks of singing a chorus with his sheep.

Yurt, who had fun with the different method he found to spend time with the animals in the village, stated that the sheep accompanied him when he made the “me” sound.

Farmer Doğan Yurt, who said that the sheep accompanied him, said: “I was in various choirs because I was very interested in Turkish folk music. However, I started doing research because I had nothing to do in the village. It was also lambing “Time for the sheep, so I wanted to do it with them, I took the saz in my hand and sat in them.” “They said, ‘Oh, purple sheep, me’s will come,’ and when I said ‘me’, they said ‘me’ as if they were listening to me and understanding me, and a very beautiful image emerged.”
