The Log House Recreation Area on the edge of Lake Çıldır, located within the borders of Çanaksu village in Arpaçay district of Kars and preferred for picnics in the summer months, was cleaned within the scope of general cleaning and maintenance works. With this important work carried out in cooperation with the District Governorship and the Municipality, the recreation area was cleared of garbage and disinfected.
Thanks to the cooperation, a detailed cleaning was carried out in the area. Environmentally damaging garbage was collected, the area was cleared of harmful weeds and a general cleaning was carried out. The collected garbage was taken by municipal teams with trucks and transported to the garbage dump site.
District Governor Muhammed Burak Akköz and Mayor Zeki Elma examined the works in the recreation area on site and asked citizens to be sensitive about cleanliness. Akköz and Elma personally participated and supported the cleaning efforts in the region.
Cleaning the Log House Recreation Area on the edge of Lake Çıldır will contribute to the creation of a healthier and more enjoyable environment for nature lovers and those who like to picnic.
