Cem Kotan, the popular Mayor of Antalya’s Konyaaltı district, visited Teachersevleri Neighborhood Headman Mihriban Sarı, who was elected as the new president of Konyaaltı Mukhtars Association, in her office and conveyed his congratulations. It was another source of pride for Sarı to become the first female president of the association.
Mayor Kotan, in his speech during the visit; “10 of the 39 neighborhoods of our Konyaaltı district are managed by our female muhtars. With this situation, we are in the first place in Antalya and we are proud of this success. It is very important for women to take part in management levels. We are very happy to see Mihriban Sarı as the first female president of the Konyaaltı Mukhtars Association “I congratulate him and wish him continued success. “We are always open to joint work and we will always be with you.”
Mihriban Sarı emphasized the cooperation with the municipality and said, “We work in harmony with the managers of our municipality. We aim to progress by further expanding our joint projects. Mr. Mayor’s visit made me extremely happy. Thank you.”
