In the sad incident that took place in Dede Mahallesi Çoban Çeşme Street in Eskişehir, 2 kittens lost their lives after being run over by a car. In the incident, the death of cubs who were not abandoned by their mothers was witnessed.
The incident was also captured on security camera. The moments when the vehicle turning on the street passed over the kittens were recorded. In the face of the cats’ painful end, their mothers did not leave the scene and waited for their children for a long time.
Yener Han Gündoğan, one of the residents of the neighborhood, stated that fast vehicle drivers harm stray animals and said, “It has become normal for cars going to Şelale Park to speed up and hit cats. I think the municipality is insensitive to this issue “Urgent measures should be taken for the safety of stray animals.”
